Zahara cabinet wins the Wallpaper* Design Awards 2024

Zahara cabinet by Alessandro La Spada is the winner of the prestigious Wallpaper* Design Awards 2024 in the "Gleam Team" category.

The Zahara cabinet is composed of a surface of metal tiles with shiny and antique finishing, arranged to form an elaborate geometric pattern. Nature, once again, provides the inspiration for a new design, where metal inserts with a texture like tree bark create a unique effect perceptible from a distance or up close.

“Like magpies, we have an eye for everything shiny or bright. Zahara cabinet is a wooden sideboard that is entirely clad in a patchwork of stainless steel sheets with alternating polished and antique finishes. More texture is added in the form of long decorative inserts in sand-blast ed aluminium with a mesmerising ‘bark’ finish.”
