A horizon of novelty for a young, evolving clientele. Starlight is the new capsule collection presented by Visionnaire to outline a metropolitan and emotional lifestyle. Developed inside the maison, under the creative direction of Eleonore Cavalli with design by Fabio Bonfà, this collection’s inspiration comes from nature in its fullest translation into universal symbols.
The moon gate, with its sense of cyclical “perfection” and opening of living spaces to the natural world. The nest, symbol of protection and renewal of life. Curved, enveloping forms for a collection made of soft volumes and compact sizes for metropolitan apartments, avoiding sharp corners and edges in favor of an organic aesthetic packed with details. Starlight showcases Visionnaire’s ability to create unique projects, reflecting the company’s DNA, but also a talent for absorbing the symbols and images of the countries in which the firm operates, translating them into objects with a vividly unique identity.
Starlight is a capsule collection that touches on all the spaces of the home, starting with the living zones all the way to the definition of new artistic subjects by Michele Astolfi, including the “Firebird”, a legendary figure that represents beauty, renewal and longevity.
The low Trapeze tables suggest the meditative atmospheres of Zen gardens, in which the stones arranged in rows indicate pathways and permit passage over pools of water. Seen from above, the tables take on the form of two overlaid and staggered stones, composed of two materials that make them complementary opposites, the interaction of two spirits and two energies: marble and wood. The legs feature a special detail: the joint for connection to the top, in fact, is like a weave of linear steel parts, a true reticular nest.
There are two proposals for the dining zone; both tables have a circular top, due to the perfection represented by this geometric figure. The top with a lazy Susan, made with two different segments of marble, is like a typical moon gate, an eye gazing towards the world, towards nature. This architectural element found in Asian gardens is an invitation to observe the world beyond physical and decorative boundaries. The form of the “full moon” represents completeness and perfection, and in the dining table it indicates warm wishes for family togetherness.
The Morgan table is made with three slender legs, which when seen from above form a rounded three-pointed star. In Mediterranean classical culture, the tripod is an expression of constantly perfect, harmonious beauty. The structure of the dining table alludes to this archetype, while providing the most stable and elegant of all possible solutions.
The Palace table has two impressive semi-cylindrical elements at the base, with a padded grosgrain outer covering.
The low Majestic cabinet is wrapped and contained by a canneté surface, also enhanced by the insertion of a metal border running along the perimeter.
For the bedroom zone, the Le Comte bed provides a headboard that wraps the sommier like a shell. This model stands out for the insertion of an upholstered element that enhances the headboard.
The stylistic code of Starlight embodies the pursuit of beauty through the representation of universal symbols linked to an exceptional muse: Nature and her wonders.
