Arte Surfside - Miami

VISIONNAIRE FOR ARTE SURFSIDE, MIAMI
SOLD ONE OF THE MOST EXCLUSIVE PENTHOUSES IN MIAMI BEACH
MIAMI, Florida Visionnaire is proud to announce the collaboration with Arte Surfside furnishing the most exclusive and desirable penthouse in Miami. This is the Surfside’s highest penthouse sold by the developers Alex Sapir and Giovanni Fasciano, in less than a week after the conclusion of the furniture installation.

Walking along the Atlantic Ocean - for a moment - the gaze wanders from the marvelous white beach of Surfside to an example of architecture with a sculptural look, conceived as a work of art. In keeping with this concept, Arte is precisely the name selected for the striking building designed by Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel in collaboration with the American firm Kobi Karp Architecture and Interior Design.

Arte, with its evocative pagoda profile, combined with the elegance of all-Italian details, contains 16 luxurious residences, designed as exclusive belvederes overlooking the ocean, for fullest enjoyment of the outdoor living that is typical of Mediterranean cultures, where interiors and outdoor areas exist in a state of osmosis.
Arte, which takes its name from the artful design of the building and the curated artwork within it, offers a wide array of first-class amenities, including a 75’ indoor swimming pool, an outdoor swimming pool and a beachfront meditation pond, a rooftop tennis court, state-of-the-art fitness center and yoga studio, sauna and steam room and dedicated pet runway and relief corridor. Additional facilities include a children’s playroom, residents’ lounge, catering kitchen for out-of-home entertaining, and private climate-controlled parking spaces.

The penthouse, sold to a private equity individual from New York, is a luxurious home of over 700 square meters, organized on three levels on the upper part of complex. With 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and a private rooftop pool, the penthouse is completely glazed on all four sides, offering a sensational view of the ocean and the city from every room.

With the Arte Surfside project, Visionnaire confirms its unique attitude of tailor-made design, and its ability to provide unique solutions of great personality, implementing the project in every phase - says Leopoldo Cavalli, CEO of Visionnaire.

Visionnaire interprets the Mediterranean “culture of living” in a poetic way, through careful selection of indoor and outdoor products, in an amazingly unique project.

We are very pleased to have collaborated with Visionnaire on the creation of such an important project,” says Giovanni Fasciano “The penthouse of Arte is the perfect context for the habitat philosophy of this Italian brand, a place in which life unfolds in continuity between indoor and outdoor zones, and every corner has been created to optimize the experience of wellbeing, bringing a value of absolute exclusivity for our client.”

The penthouse seems suspended, with the living area oriented towards the ocean, providing a truly evocative setting. The bestseller Ca’ Foscari, designed by Alessandro La Spada, exists in dialogue with the Marty family of consoles and low tables by Marco Piva and with the new Montparnasse sofa by Mauro Lipparini. The whole composition generates a refined, well-balanced environment, in which the panorama and the décor are complementary factors rather than competing for center stage.

Walking through the Penthouse, Visionnaire has designed each room with something specific in mind. The dining room was furnished with the Kerwan table, an iconic creation of the brand. The special feature of the table is the curvature of the legs made with marble slabs, not blocks, so as to avoid a waste of material. The steel and stone of the base form an optical whole. The two materials, held in tension by the concave and convex curvature, combine in a single double-face element, while the mirror surface of the curved steel reflects the surrounding space. The marble top concludes the design in a sculptural gesture. The table is joined by the Astrid chairs and the Thamos sideboard, also by Alessandro La Spada and the Boreal 9 chandelier by Marco Piva which enhances the composition. Visionnaire’s ability to formulate products that are never conceived as isolated presences, but always envisioned as part of a setting, takes on exceptional impact in Arte Surfside: every room is organized as a “total” solution, while the remarkable architectural context brings out the beauty of the individual components.

The upper level contains the oceanfront master bedroom suite, with the Emotion bed, for which La Conca has created a paneling headboard that hosts a range of features: storage compartments, soft lighting, drawers and bookshelves, elegantly upholstered in leather. The bed is enhanced by complex workmanship, allowing various parts of the headboard to be opened with a simple push-pull movement. The bed is part of a composition that also includes the Rosemary armchairs by Alessandro La Spada, and the sinuous, enveloping form of the sophisticated Jet Plane desk by Steve Leung, with the organic shape of its shell in curved wood, entirely covered in fine saddle-stitched leather. The same floor of the house offers two other bedrooms, furnished with the Palau Large bed by La Conca and the Revêrie bed by Roberto Lazzeroni, while the walk-in closet is completely furnished with the Genesis modular system, again designed by La Conca.

The rooftop of the penthouse is perhaps one of the most striking spaces of the building and all Miami beach with its panoramic views of the ocean and the city. It is outfitted with a solarium and a private pool, and organized like the flybridge of a ship. Visionnaire has coordinated the setup of this space furnishing the solarium zone with the Farnese chairs by Samuele Mazza, the Oberto low table and the Kathryn seating family, in a combination of sartorial excellence and Italian tradition, combining wood with linen cord tied in a herringbone pattern. A second lounge area features the Galloway sofa by Maurizio Manzoni with structure in solid iroko wood and the Coney Island chairs and low table.

In this penthouse the Meta-Luxury Brand - that has been presented in Miami for years with its own flagship store at Biscayne Blvd in the Wynwood district and recently renovated for the occasion of Miami Art Basel 2019 – creates a symbolic “showcase” in the city, a high-image project that fully expresses the Visionnaire design culture.
