Meet the designer
TIPSTUDIO is a design studio that investigates the potential of materials and processes through a critical and experimental approach, aiming to envision new future scenarios. Operating from their studio in Florence and atelier in Pietrasanta, TIPSTUDIO integrates local influences, bridging the gap between design and art. The studio’s practice spans creative consulting, research, furniture design, and collectible design, collaborating with galleries, private clients, and brands. Their aim is to explore the intricate aspects of matter through in-depth analysis of physical and immaterial territories, anthropology, and conceptual analysis that translate into product design, spaces, and installations. In 2022, TIPSTUDIO was recognized as part of the “Talent on Show” by Elle Decor during Milan Design Week. Imma and Tommaso are teachers in the Product design course at IED Florence.
