Rare Matter
Rare Matter
A Retro Brutalist Story
At Milan Design Week 2026, Visionnaire unveils Rare Matter—a collection where matter returns as origin, not surface. In a time driven by speed and replication, the focus shifts to density, gravity, and permanence. A retro memory emerges as continuity rather than nostalgia, shaping a living archive under the creative direction of Eleonore Cavalli.
Presented at Salone del Mobile.Milano, the collection unfolds through a sequence of interconnected environments. Concrete and ceramic surfaces create a continuous material dialogue, while warm tones and reflective planes generate depth and calibrated light. The space becomes an architectural narrative, balancing rigor and softness.
Each piece is conceived as a singular project—where material and structure act as one. Forms are sharp and architectural; volumes define space with clarity and precision.

Matter as substance
Matter is not cladding, but substance. Rare stones, dimensional glass, oxidized metals, and cement define a language of raw, sculptural presence. The Visionnaire home emerges as a dynamic system where architecture, furniture, and art converge—where rarity is not aesthetic, but cultural: a conscious choice grounded in material, time, and craftsmanship.
