Visionnaire at Salone del Mobile Milano.Shanghai

Visionnaire joins a select group of Italian design brands in the installation "The Orbit’s Orbit" at the innovative and homonymous Shanghai venue during Salone del Mobile.Milano Shanghai.

This performative installation - held from November 8th to 10th in collaboration with West Bund Art & Design - is conceived and curated by artist Matilde Cassani and celebrates the excellence and innovation of Italian design, intertwining history, art and culture in an immersive experience.

November is Shanghai’s dedicated art month. Visionnaire’s participation in this performative installation aligned the brand with the city’s vibrant celebration of art and design.

Our participation in ‘The Orbit’s Orbit’ through iconic pieces like Shibari and Mira not only celebrates our dedication to the finest Italian craftsmanship to create unique artifacts but also reflects our desire to establish a profound and continuous dialogue with the cultures of the countries in which we operate.

Among the Visionnaire pieces on display is the Shibari armchair, by Studiopepe, an icon that has drawn acclaim at events like Salone del Mobile.Milano at Bloomingdale's in New York and Homo Faber in Venice. This international tour reinforces the armchair’s standing as a brand icon, appealing to curators, collectors and clients worldwide.

Also on display in Shanghai will be the Mira armchair, created by Draga & Aurel, designers who have collaborated with Visionnaire on unique collections inextricably linked to the brand’s history—such as Lego, Amos, Aries, and Sputnik. Visionnaire will collaborate with Draga & Aurel again in December at Design Miami to present the installation Narrazioni Intrecciate (Intertwined Narratives) within the exhibition circuit.

This occasion calls us to an essential artistic pilgrimage for young people in China - a vibrant city with over 100 exhibitions and major art fairs, reflecting Visionnaire's commitment to connecting with the next generation through its unique cultural presence.
