Federico Hurth
Biography
Federico Hurth, born in Lugano in 1998, developed an authentic and deeply personal photographic vision, where imagery becomes a tool for observing the human condition. Raised between Lugano and Milan, he shaped a visual language influenced by the contrast between stillness and urban intensity, embracing imperfection as an essential part of the narrative.
His practice was built through analog photography, a medium that still defines his slow, instinctive, and tactile approach to image-making. From the streets of Italy to international environments such as Los Angeles, Tokyo, Seoul, and Rio de Janeiro, Federico documents urban and social realities through a restrained, empathetic, and direct perspective.
Alongside documentary photography, he works across fashion, music, and lifestyle, consistently maintaining a strong focus on authenticity and human presence within the frame. His work gives weight to silent details and everyday stories, translating them into images with a powerful emotional and narrative impact.
