Apollo Belvedere, launched in April 2022, is a Visionnaire project exploring innovative art and design practices enabled by NFTs and Web3.
Presented during the 60th edition of Salone del Mobile.Milano at Visionnaire’s Wunderkammer Gallery in Piazza Cavour 3, the project was created with visual artist Jonathan Monaghan. It features a Carrara marble sculpture paired with a unique 1/1 NFT, available via the 4ART App and marketplace, and minted on the sustainable Palm Network, a side-chain of Ethereum with near-zero carbon emissions.

Conceived as a singular artwork, Apollo Belvedere contrasts the reproducibility of NFT art by establishing a dialogue between physical craftsmanship and digital creation. Monaghan’s aesthetic merges with Visionnaire’s expertise in luxury production, translating digital vision into a hand-carved marble bust sourced in Carrara and crafted by Italian artisans over several months.
Alongside the sculpture, Monaghan developed a surreal 3D animated video set in a Baroque environment, reinforcing the connection between physical and digital realms through the partnership with 4ARTechnologies. Following its Milan debut, Apollo Belvedere was also presented at Visionnaire’s showroom during Art Basel Miami, showcasing both the marble bust and the final NFT drop.
