Visionnaire at the Monaco Boat Show in collaboration with Perini Navi
Visionnaire is collaborating once again with this most prestigious shipyard. The brand has been chosen by Perini Navi1 to furnish the stand at the Monaco Yacht Show from 27 to 30 September 2017 for the presentation of “Seven”, the new 60-metre aluminium ketch created in collaboration with Ron Holland. Visionnaire’s new Greenery collection and other favourites of its collection were selected by the shipyard as the furnishings for this event. The star of the reception area is Giuseppe Viganò’s new Convention Design modular sofa, presented at the Salone del Mobile 2017. The project was initially created with a planform, but breaks up spaces with the diagonality of its elements, and has also expanded into furniture and accessories. The careful attention paid to the selection of materials, the special nature of the construction and the clear mark of craftsmanship forms the essence of this new collection, characterised by the combination of wood and leather on the external structure. The frame of the sofa has a core of solid wood covered in leather or hide, while the cushions can be placed in different positions on the module to substitute the traditional backrests. The arrangement of these pieces makes use of an innovative solution incorporating diagonal elements with 45° angles, each set into the next to form solutions for the centre of the room that increase the possibilities for arrangement. The table completes the work. The coffee table and pouf can, in turn, also be combined with designs and shapes based on those same diagonals. For the bar area, Samuele Mazza’s Coney Island Design lounge with hand-woven synthetic rattan chairs with “Vienna straw” weave on an aluminium frame, upholstered in outdoor fabrics with braiding in the same colour.
